Set in the heart of Albernoa (Beja), Herdade dos Grous, a country estate managed by Vila Vita Parc (Porches), has launched a special ‘Carnival Menu’ that can be enjoyed by revellers from February 9 to 13. The menu consists of couvert, cream of asparagus soup with smoked ham Julienne as a starter, tuna tortilla on spinach and steamed potatoes in a sauce of aromatic herbs and pepper for a fish option or black pork medallions on a bed of mushrooms and served in a dry Madeira sauce. For dessert, there is Sericá (typical moist cake from Elvas) with plums in syrup.
Menu is available for lunch and dinner. Price is €40 per person for a three course meal and €45 for four-course meal (prices exclude drinks).
