In another bizarre development, a German court has issued an arrest warrant for Christian Brückner, the only suspect in the case of the disappearance in Portugal 15 years ago of British child Madeleine McCann. Brückner is in jail in Germany already, and likely to remain there for at least another three years. This new warrant refers to an incident where Brückner allegedly exposed himself and masturbated in front of a 10 year old child in the Algarve (in the same year that three-year-old Madeleine went missing). German prosecutors who announced almost two-and-a-half years ago that Madeleine is dead and Brückner “did the deed” have since charged him for five separate sex offenses, all of which he denies.
