A three-month GNR police investigation resulted in the seizure of more than 280 individual doses of hashish and 40 plants from a cannabis plantation in Fronalha in Monchique on June 30.
Two German citizens, one aged 54 and the other aged 50, were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking and have been detained by police while further investigations are carried out by the criminal investigation department of the GNR in Portimão.
