HOLIDAY MAKERS in Germany will soon be able to take their love of naturism to new heights with special nudism flights being launched this year, a travel company said on Tuesday.
“In the former East Germany, naturist holidays were a much-loved way of spending the best weeks of the year,” said the founder of the travel company OssiUrlaub.de, Enrico Hess, adding:”We want to make that freedom possible above the clouds too.”
The first flight will be a day trip on July 5 between Erfurt, South-east Germany and the island of Usedom in the Baltic Sea.
Tickets for the flights on the 50 seat jet cost 499 euros and are aimed specifically at East Germans who feel nostalgic for the naturism authorised under communist rule.
