Emmerdale is a popular and critically acclaimed British soap opera that has aired since 1972.
Set in the fictional village of Emmerdale in West Yorkshire, it is the third most popular soap opera on British television, behind Coronation Street and EastEnders. Danny Miller, who used to be in Grange Hill, now plays the character Aaron Livesy, son to Chas in Emmerdale, and had just had a fantastic story line finally admitting that he is gay – it was an amazing acting performance! In real life he is the son of a long-standing family friend and one of the best comperes in the UK, Vince Miller, also a true professional, who I have used at hundreds of my events over the years.
I went to a gala dinner in the UK recently and Vince and Danny were sat on our table. Danny is a world away from the cocky, hard faced character he plays in Emmerdale, which we teased him about over dinner- he is actually very shy, quiet and such a lovely polite young man – well done Danny. I wish you luck in the future with your acting career!
I was invited to the annual Quinta Properties event to celebrate the launch of the 2010 edition of their property guide, Passion for Property.
Guests were treated to a champagne reception and an exquisite amuse bouche expertly created by Head Chef Dieter Koschina of two Michelin Star restaurant Vila Joya.
Sisters, Alison and Kerstin, directors of Quinta Properties, are the chosen associates of Savills – along with their team they were the best selling real estate agents in 2009. Well-done ladies!
