Members and friends of the Algarve Chaine des Rôtisseurs met for an informal dinner at the Brazilian restaurant, Casa Rodízio, in Porches on Friday, February 13.
Guests were greeted with a Brazilian Caipirinha cocktail before the dinner where Dr Jean Ferran, Bailli of the Chaine in the Algarve, gave a talk about the history of the 300 year old Brazilian tradition of the Rodízio.
The society’s next gathering will be a trip with lunch to the Herdade de Grous in the Alentejo on March 14.
