Around 50 members of the international gastronomy society Chaine des Rôtisseurs and their guests met for lunch at the Herdade dos Grous in the Alentejo on March 28.
This meeting, which was organised by the Algarve Baillage, included a tour of the estate on a tractor, a visit to the cellars, wine tasting, and a gastronomic lunch, and was attended by members from the Alentejo, Lisbon and Porto, as well as the Bailli of Portugal, Anibal Soares. The Herdade dos Grous is part of the Vila Vita group of hotels and produces Alentejo wines.
The Algarve Baillage’s next event will be a dinner in Meia-Praia, near Lagos, on May 9.
