A cooking demonstration led by Chef Miguel Lourenço will take place at São Brás de Alportel’s market on Saturday (January 30) from 10am.
Lourenço, Executive Chef at ‘The Olive Tree’ restaurant at Vale d’Oliveiras resort, will reveal the secrets of cooking a three-course meal of “octopus salad, duck risotto and wild fruits panna cotta”.
Though only 30, Lourenço is one of the Algarve’s most respected Chefs, having worked alongside celebrated Chef Kenny McMillan at Macdonald Resorts in Scotland in 2014. He was also selected for the 2015 Algarve Chefs Week.
São Brás’ cookery demonstrations take place on the last Saturday of every month.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
