A gas leak in Almada on Tuesday morning resulted in the evacuation of almost 70 people from shops and offices in Rua Olivença while authorities temporarily shut the street off for repairs.
News of the leak came through at almost 10am and in less than an hour the situation was brought under control, with no injuries or damage reported.
