Gas causes oil company explosion

Mexican authorities believe that the explosion at the headquarters of the Mexican oil company Pemex, on Thursday, January 31, was caused by the accumulation of gas. The explosion led to 37 deaths and over 100 injured. The collapse of several floors in the building accounts for the number of victims, said the General Attorney, Jesús Murillo, in a press conference. “We have confirmed that there were no traces of explosives,” he added.
