An open garden weekend is to take place tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday at Centre Algarve in Moncarapacho.
Centre Algarve is currently being developed as the first holiday centre for people with special needs in Europe and volunteers are needed to help carry out the works.
The open garden weekend asks for helpers to assist in the clearing of the land around the centre between 10am and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Lin Griffin of Centre Algarve said: “If you can spare some time to work in the garden or to cook, clean, make tea or do a spot of painting please come along to the centre this weekend.”
There will be a barbeque for the volunteers held on each day from 2pm.
