Seven men, aged between 17 and 26, were arrested in Albufeira on Monday (June 13) for allegedly carrying out a series of nighttime robberies near the town’s bars and discos.
According to GNR police, their most recent theft was reported in “one of the town’s main tourist areas”.
Five of the accused were found after their victim described them to police, while two others were located the following day – one still in the possession of the victim’s stolen phone.
