Galp sell

Portuguese oil and gas company Galp Energia has said it is considering selling 132 petrol stations across Portugal.

The company claims that the closures are necessary after the purchase of ExxonMobil in Spain and Portugal to avoid station duplicates in some areas.

Other petrol stations will be closed due to a lack of profitability.

A final decision as to which stations will be closed is set to be made by the end of March after Santander bank has evaluated all proposals.
