A Gala Dinner to celebrate H.M. Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee will be held at Le Meridien Penina Hotel in Portimão on Friday, June 1, at 7pm for 7.30pm.
Due to the generosity of Le Meridien, Sovereign Trust, Currencies Direct, Quinta dos Vales and Taylors Port, we are able to offer you a wonderful dining opportunity for the celebratory rate of €45 per person (see how to pay by bank transfer in news item below).
HM Ambassador to Portugal Jill Gallard has already confirmed her presence at the event while world renowned Chef Bernard Lussiana and his accomplished creative culinary team have vowed to make this an evening to remember by offering:
• A Jubilee welcome drink
• Sumptuous buffet with British and Portuguese savoury and sweet delicacies to suit all palates
• A very special Jubilee cake
• Quinta dos Vales wines will be served with the meal
• Taylor’s Port will be served at the end of the meal with coffee
The event will conclude with a charity auction, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Royal British Legion (Portugal Branch) and Madrugada, the association which helps those with life limiting illness.
