Dozens of intellectuals will be in Coimbra for the next 10 days to discuss the future of the Portuguese language. According to the Portugal Brazil 200 years Association (APBRA), the event will include the participation of important names in culture and literature from Portuguese-speaking countries, including Brazilian philosopher and writer Djamila Ribeiro, who will be lecturing in Portugal for the first time. This “First Cycle of Language Citizenship” will run to July 2, taking place in various venues throughout the city.
