Fundação EDP will be donating €300,000 to Faro Hospital to carry out much-needed renovation work on its paediatrics unit.
The deal was made official last week during a meeting between António Almeida, the president of EDP’s paediatrics support programme, and Algarve hospital boss Pedro Nunes.
The work will begin on May 20 and should be completed by the end of July.
