ENVIRONMENTAL ASSOCIATION Almargem has organised a series of events in the region from December 1 to raise funds for the maintenance and promotion of the Via Algarviana, Algarve Way trail.
On December 1 there is a choice of events, including a 5km walk, a three-hour mountain bike ride and nature walks along the Algarve Way trail in Barranco do Velho, Loulé, from 9.30am.
A cultural walk is also due to take place in Loulé on December 6, which will be followed by a photography exhibition with music provided by No Way DJ at Bar Artistas in Faro on December 12 and 13.
The Algarve Way is a footpath that stretches around 240km, crossing the entire Algarve region from Alcoutim in the east to Cabo São Vicente in the west.
