This Sunday (July 29) Pinetrees Riding Centre in Almancil will be celebrating its 27th anniversary with fun games and fancy dress on horseback.
The event will also serve to raise funds for both the Bombeiros and to collect food for the Food Bank.
From 4pm, the afternoon will begin with a fun Fancy Dress Parade, open to children and adults alike, all dressed for the occasion.
There will not be an allocated theme, so participants are encouraged to dress as their favourite characters for the chance of winning a prize.
For the younger children and less experienced riders, there will also be games of Musical Crowns and an Obstacle Race, where participants will be tested by an amusing course of obstacles to be completed before the clock runs out.
The day will end with a Jumping event, with jumps over cross poles or jumps up to 80 centimetres.
This event will be open to all riders from novices to the more advanced children and adults.
Refreshments will be provided by volunteers from Riding for the Disabled in the Algarve throughout the afternoon.
All are welcome to attend and it is requested that guests bring along with them non perishable foods for the collection box that will be delivered to those in need.
