For children young and old, there are new shows coming to Portugal full of songs, dancing and colourful characters. From ice fairies and princesses to gymnastic super heroes and lightsaber battles, there is something for everyone.
Little girls will have the chance to marvel at the Winx fairies in March as characters from the popular cartoon series don their skates and take to the ice for a spectacular show in Lisbon on March 6 and 7. For all those wannabe princesses, there is a chance to watch the Princess Wishes show from Disney on Ice on March 27 and 28, also in Lisbon.
Fans of the Icelandic phenomenon Lazy Town will be able to join Sportacus, Stephanie and Robbie Rotten in their live pirate show with the characters from the series singing some of the best known songs and encouraging healthy eating and exercise, while trying to outwit naughty Robbie Rotten, at the end of April at the Europarque, near Porto, and on May 1 in Pavilhão Atlântico, Lisbon.
Meanwhile, for those who want to take a walk on the wild side, Walking with Dinosaurs, the live experience will be in Lisbon for three days giving audiences the opportunity to step back in time, while a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…For all those Star Wars fans, head to Lisbon on March 22 and 23 to watch Star Wars Live in Concert – don’t forget your lightsaber!
