Fun-filled games for all at Portimão Marina

‘Jogos Portimão Sem Fronteiras’ is a tournament made up of several fun-filled games which will take place in Portimão on June 22 and 23.

The games will be played at the Marina beach in Praia da Rocha and at the new water float that has been set up by Navibordo Portimão near the beach.

They are described as “competitive games” which will see players tasked with “overcoming obstacles” and “working together as a team”.

Anyone can sign up for free but to compete in the event participants must be part of a team. Each team will be made up of five people and at least two women.
Teams will participate in seven games, each awarding points to the winning teams. Whichever team earns the most points by the end of the competition will be crowned the winner.

The event is part of Portimão’s European City of Sport programme, which includes hundreds of sports events being held this year in the town. The title of European City of Sport was awarded by ACES Europe, which considers the town to be “an example to follow in the promotion of sports for all”.
