Several activities are scheduled to take place in Odeleite’s countryside, in Furnazinhas, on April 27, as part of a new event entitled Feira do Campo.
The fair kicks off at 9.30am with a walk along the Furnazinhas – Barragem de Odeleite trail, in Castro Marim. According to the organisers, those who decide to participate in the eight-kilometre stroll will be “surrounded by nature in its purest form”.
Later that day, people are invited to gather in Furnazinhas, where a number of workshops, photo exhibitions, donkey rides and other activities will be taking place. Learning how to make bread in wood-burning ovens or how to produce goat cheese are some of the highlights. The event is organised by the Parish Council of Odeleite and Associação Alcance, with the support of the Castro Marim council.
