Fun day in Ferragudo

A recent fundraising event held in PlayOasis, Ferragudo, raised 309 euros for the Lagoa bombeiros. Original plans were made for one of the Lagoa Bombeiros’ fire engines to be present on the day, but due to fires raging through Monchique at the time, the engine was in use. However, at the last minute, the Carvoeiro tourist train stepped in to take the children at the event on a tour of the local area. Special thanks go to John and Teresa of PlayOasis for donating all entrance proceeds and supplying the fun, games and prizes. The Lagoa Bombeiros committee is dedicated to raising money for the essential equipment necessary for the safety of the bombeiros.
