After a long summer break, motor racing is back on the agenda at the Algarve Motor Park near Portimão, with the track playing host to major GT and single-seater racing on September 18 and 19.
Some of the most impressive cars in the world will be taking to the track during the last European stage of the FIA GT1 World Championship before the competition heads south to Durban, South Africa.
Spectators will be able to watch examples of GT tuned Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Corvette, Ginetta, Porsche and Lotus speed around the challenging circuit in various classes.
Meanwhile, the main races will be supported by GT3 and GT4 categories as well as the Superleague Formula, a competition which sees the worlds of football and motor racing coming together with the football clubs of FC Porto, Sporting Lisbon and Athlético Madrid being just some of the teams with cars on the track.
With so many different races, teams and cars competing all weekend, there is sure to be something for everyone at the Algarve Motor Park on September 18 and 19.
