THIS WEEKEND sees the River Arade host Lagoa’s 2007 Power Boat Grand Prix.
The event, taking place at Mexilhoeira da Carregação on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22, comprises the national championship for the PR 750, S 850 and Tourism categories, as well as Fórmula Futuro, an event for youngsters aged between 8 and 18.
The action gets underway at 3pm on Saturday with Fórmula Futuro, while the National Championship gets underway at 3.30pm on Sunday. Both competitions are preceded by practice sessions and the two day event promises to provide quite a spectacle.
