Fuel prices to increase again on Monday

The price of fuel at the pumps will be increasing again on Monday, in line with increases for the last few weeks. Energy specialist António Costa Silva, former president of oil company Partex, and architect of Portugal’s plan for recovery and resilience, estimates the price of a barrel of crude could increase from its current 100 dollar mark to as much as 140 dollars “if the conflict in Ukraine persists”.
