The price of fuel at Portugal’s pumps will take another leap on Monday. Petrol will be increasing by 8 cents a litre; diesel by 7 cents. It means the cost of fuel now is closing in on €2 per litre. This next increase will be the 10th this year and has been powered by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the world’s pull-back from purchasing Russian oil.
