Good news for any of us facing a weekend on “yellow” weather alert: Monday will see fuel prices dropping across the board, with diesel benefitting from the best reductions.
According to Económico website this morning, it is a generalised fall, with all the big companies taking hits at the pumps.
A source has told the website that petrol will drop by around two cents a litre, while diesel could reduce by as much as three cents.
Citing an EU study that shows Portugal charges the seventh highest prices for petrol in the EU – with diesel coming in at 10th position among the 28 member states – Económico has given a round-up of the country’s best value pumps, with Intermarché and Jumbo and Rede Energia de Vila Real de Santo António outlets winning hands down.
