Fuel allowance

Dear Editor,

David Cameron knows very well that large numbers of Brits who choose to spend their retirement years in sunnier climes are not all filthy rich.

Some of us could be classed as economic migrants – food, housing and general living costs being considerably cheaper than Blighty.

The fuel allowance we use to offset air conditioning costs in summer: as a few years ago in Paris showed high levels of heat and humidity can be dangerous for the elderly.

David Cameron would be smartly relieved of his seat if all European expats were to register their votes in his constituency. What do your readers think?
