Frontiers with Spain “to open this weekend”

Frontiers with Spain are expected to open this weekend as Portugal emerges from its latest 173 days under State of Emergency. The Council of Ministers is meeting today to thrash out all the details, but media reports are already predicting some of them, suggesting frontier traffic will be opened up – and restaurants in municipalities below the incidence risk threshold will be able to serve meals beyond 1pm. None of this has yet been categorically confirmed.
