It is described as a “fantastic journey through the soundtracks of classic movies” and it will be gracing the stage of Albufeira’s sports pavilion on Saturday, February 8 at 9.30pm.
‘From London to Hollywood’ is a special concert which sees the Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra performing tunes from the original soundtracks of classic movies such as “Star Wars”, “Harry Potter”, “Pirates of the Caribbean”, “Pink Panther”, “007” and “New York, New York”.
The orchestra, led by maestro Osvaldo Ferreira, is bringing the show to Albufeira and will be performing while parts of these movies are shown on a giant screen.
Tickets cost €10 and can be purchased at the town hall on weekdays from 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm or at the venue on the day of the concert between 7.30pm and 9.15pm.
