Quinta do Lago is getting a fresh new look of sophistication and elegance. From the start of the summer, the five-star resort sitting in one of the most affluent communities in the Algarve is unveiling new restaurant renovations, as it continues to invest in its gastronomic offering. The elegant Casa do Lago restaurant, offering local seafood specialities with a stunning lakeside view, enjoys new natural ingredients and a fresh look to compliment the surrounding Atlantic Ocean view. The North and South Clubhouses are also given a refreshed look that is brighter, more spacious, more welcoming and of higher quality. A hub for golfers who enjoy the exceptional facilities of Quinta do Lago, the Clubhouse will have options to host special events from groups as well as a new shop and refreshed menu that will offer a new improved menu of the most outstanding quality.
The Clubhouse
Expected to be completed in June, the highly anticipated new clubhouse has been expertly designed by Essencia Architects – the Portuguese company that designed Quinta do Lago’s award-winning multi-sports hub The Campus. The popular golfers’ paradise will give a new air to the area, complimenting the surrounding luxury resort in the most exclusive region of the Algarve. The expanding area will offer greater support for those using the resort for meetings, incentives, conferences and events relating to business and inside and out, with a larger outdoor area and easier travelling through the building – elevating the clubhouse to the same five-star standard of the resort’s other outstanding luxury golf and lifestyle facilities.
Casa do Lago
The elegant revamp continues through to Casa do Lago, a fish and seafood restaurant resting on gorgeous blue water that can be admired from table view. The renovation has refreshed the ocean-set restaurant with a light and spacious design and natural interiors, drawing inspiration from its surrounding waterscape. The daily specials menu boasts the best locally caught fish and seafood available, whilst the outside bar serves exotic cocktails and crisp wines to enjoy on the terrace. In a unique location, poised between the Ria Formosa Natural Park and a sparkling salt water lake, enjoy serene, sophisticated dining, complimented by live jazz music that eases you into the early evening as the warmth of the sun softens over the waterfront.
