Mirage Carvery has re-opened this month in Praia da Luz, offering delicious roast meat dishes and an international menu at affordable prices, in a friendly family atmosphere.
Manager Sid Hyams, who moved to the Algarve from England eight years ago, told the Algarve Resident: “I have worked in the catering industry for seven years in the Algarve and saw the need for a good quality carvery in Praia da Luz.”
He added: “We have an international menu with plenty of choice and variety including ribs, noodles and bangers and mash with onion gravy, which is available from Thursday to Saturday evenings.”
Through the winter months, the Mirage Carvery is open from Wednesdays to Fridays in the evenings and all day at the weekends.
“On a Wednesday night, we do a curry night where clients can have a poppadom, either onion bhajis or samosas and one from a choice of three curries, or even a taste of all three for a very reasonable price,” said Sid Hyams.
On Sundays, clients can enjoy live music entertainment with their carvery meal from 3pm until 6pm.
The Mirage Carvery has a choice of three roasted meats, beef, pork and turkey, which come with all the trimmings including Yorkshire puddings, vegetables, roast potatoes, gravy and more.
“We are a family friendly restaurant and also have an outdoor terrace, so clients are free to bring their dogs if they wish to,” he added.
The Mirage Carvery can also cater for a variety of functions such as birthdays and christenings and weddings, among others.
