French rugby champions Stade Français were in the Algarve for a training camp last weekend and raised quite a few eyebrows when they turned up to watch the Six Nations match between France and Ireland at Browns Sports & Leisure Club bar in Vilamoura.
“A lot of the managers and squad watched the game which made it a great atmosphere to be a part of,” said a spokesperson for Browns.
Five members of the Stade Français squad were playing for France, while the others spent the weekend “training hard” to prepare for the games lined up ahead.
The Paris-based team will be back in action this Friday (February 19) and take on CA Brive Corrèze.
