French companies are not just satisfied with the investments they have made in Portugal, they plan to increase them. The promise came from Portuguese Economy Minister António Pires de Lima while ‘on tour’ in Paris in another of his foreign investment roadshows.
“France has been a great commercial partner of Portugal’s,” he told his audience, saying that it is now “much easier” to present Portugal to French investors as the country has at last shown that it is on track to exit its international bailout programme.
