Top Portuguese golfer Ricardo Santos failed to show his best form at the €3 million French Open and exited the tournament at the half-way stage.
The 30-year-old from Faro will now find it difficult to maintain a European top-60 place necessary to gain access to the World Tour Championship, given that he will only be able to compete in one more top level event until the Portugal Masters in October.
