Parkalgar Honda secured another fantastic result during the weekend’s 11th and penultimate round of the World Supersport Championships at Magny Cours.

Top rider Sam Lowes grabbed fourth place on the starting grid before scoring his second runner-up spot in as many weeks to stay in contention for a podium finish in the overall standings following the season-ending climax in the Algarve next Sunday.

“It is another second place and a big thank you to my team for all their support this weekend,” said Lowes. “I am looking forward to Portimão for the final round – that is the home of my Parkalgar Honda team and I want to be fighting for the

win there.”

The title looks destined for Briton Chaz Davies, who leads the championship by 37 points but thereafter fifth placed Lowes only trails second Fabien Foret and joint third-placed Broc Parkes and David Salom by 15 and seven points respectively, giving him every chance of becoming runner-up at the Algarve’s premier race track.
