French cuisine celebrated by Vila Vita Parc

The Atlântico restaurant at Vila Vita Parc in Porches will be taking part next Wednesday (March 21) in Goût de France, an event that every year sees thousands of restaurants around the world paying homage to French cuisine.

The restaurant was invited to take part by the French Embassy in Portugal and will be offering a special menu prepared by executive chef Manfred Kickmaier “exclusively for this day”, which includes a generous aperitif, a starter, a fish and a meat main course, a cheese course and a dessert.

The menu will be paired with a careful selection of French wines and feature “unique dishes such as gateau of goose liver with apple and celery salad, kumquat confit, lobster bisque, and beef tenderloin ‘à l’Escoffier’ with wild mushrooms, potatoes Anna and pepper sauce”.

Price is €78 per person.

Goût de France is organised by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and chef Alain Ducasse. It brings together over 3,000 restaurants and 150 embassies over five continents in a celebration of French gastronomy.
