A free summer beach party to welcome in the season will be taking place for the first time on the beach in Carvoeiro tomorrow (Saturday) night.
The event, which has been organised by Vozes Intensas, the town’s association for business owners and residents, in conjunction with the local Junta and the Più Grand Café, will be taking place from 8pm until 3am.
Claudia Boto from the association told the Algarve Resident: “We have been chasing the licences for the party for the last month after we were initially told that the party could not take place, but now everything is arranged for the party on Saturday night.”
From 8pm, there will be live music in the square which will then be followed by the main party on the beach from 10pm including two DJ sets and tents serving a selection of drinks and snacks. “There will be tents with vendors selling snacks, including suckling pig sandwiches, champagne by the glass and cocktails, to make this a really special event for everyone.”
The beach party is open to everyone and free to attend.
