Free sterilisation for dogs

A free dog sterilisation campaign, starting today (Friday), is due to be held in four counties in the western Algarve until July 15.

This campaign, which has been organised as part of a protocol set up between the Associação Ecologista e Zoófila de Aljezur (AEZA), an ecology and zoology association, and German association ITV Grenzenlos, will be running in Aljezur, Lagos, Vila do Bispo and Monchique.

Dog owners can take their animals to be castrated in one of the following veterinary surgeries – Clínica Veterinária de Aljezur, Clínica Veterinária do Ferrel, Zoolagos, Vetsagres and Consultório Veterinário Aurora in Monchique.

To benefit from this charity campaign, please contact one of these veterinary surgeries between 10am and 10pm or contact Gerlinde Hartlmaier on 965 709 610 or Isabel Motta on 914 085 052.

Dog owners interested in the campaign must give their details and the sex and weight of the dog before receiving a voucher that is valid for one month to have the sterilisation carried out at one of the clinics.
