Free guide to “promote food tourism”

A “practical and free” food guide has been launched by Portugal’s Food Tourism Association (APTECE) in an attempt to give entities “the tools they need to make (the country’s) food tourism sector more competitive and interesting”.

According to APTECE, which stands for Associação Portuguesa de Turismo de Culinária e Economia (Portuguese association for culinary tourism and economy), the guide will provide tips and guidelines for officials in the tourism sector as well as local politicians, but also for any other entities that feel they could benefit from it.

Hopes are that the guide will “motivate a collective effort to diversify the food tourism offer in Portugal”.

Those interested in obtaining the guide can do so for free by contacting APTECE
