afpop has organised a golf experience day for members, their families and friends, welcoming both golfers and non-golfers.
To be held at Colina Verde Golf Resort near Moncarapacho on Friday May 11, the day will start with a nine-hole golf tournament for the more experienced (with prizes) at 10am.
From 11am to noon, there will be a one-hour golf clinic with the resort’s Director of Golf Matthew Gatrall for the less experienced and for those just wanting to improve certain elements of their game; chipping and putting competitions for all ages; use of the tennis court (rackets and balls provided); use of the table tennis table; and use of the impressive outdoor swimming pool.
There will also be a masseuse on hand to ease aching bones and provide sample treatment sessions.
All of this will be free to afpop members and a charge of €5 will be made for non-members.
The event will be rounded off with wine tasting and a barbecue (a small charge will apply to some other beverages and the barbecue) and while the organised elements will end in the early afternoon, you will be welcome to relax at the resort beyond this.
Premier FX will also be on hand if any member or guests wish to discuss currency matters and other afpop partners will be there to add further elements to the day.
Colina Verde Golf and Sports Resort is set among 30 acres of countryside enjoying views of the Atlantic Ocean.
This is a perfect way to get to know members of the afpop team in an informal setting, to join in the fun, relax by the pool, meet some of afpop’s partners, or just mingle with new and old friends for an hour or two.
