Between September 15 and October 31 branches of the Alain Afflelou opticians will be offering free eye examinations for children between the ages of five and seven.
As part of the promotion, children requiring glasses after the eye test will be offered a pair for free.
There are two branches of Alain Afflelou in the Algarve, one in Faro and another in Loulé.
