With the winding down of vaccination centres (the current 192 will reduce to 139 from next Tuesday), authorities have decided to reduce the number of free antigen tests available to citizens from the beginning of March. The month will see only two tests per person authorised, instead of the current four. The plan is that by the end of March, free antigen test will be phased out altogether. As DGS health director Graça Freitas has already outlined, all restrictions brought in because of the pandemic are likely to fall by April 3.
