This Sunday (April 30) SC Olhanense welcome SC Freamunde, themselves embroiled in the relegation battle, to José Arcanjo Stadium, Olhão – kick-off at 4pm.
Last weekend Freamunde called in the police following their game against promotion outsiders Penafiel. Suspicions of a betting coup came under the spotlight after three goals were disallowed and two strong penalty claims not given.
Messages were received by the club pointing to the possibility that the half-time and final scores were being manipulated.
The Freamunde management are considering referring the matter to the Public Prosecutor. Result: Freamunde 1-2 Penafiel.
