Scottish group Franz Ferdinand are the first band to be confirmed for the bill of the biggest Portuguese summer musical festival that will take place between August 5 and August 8 in the large Casa Branca arena in Zambujeira do Mar.
Franz have been hailed by critics as “the saviours of rock” thanks to the excitement generated by their debut album. The Glasgow quartet, Bob Hardy, Paul Thompson, Alex Kapranos and Nick McCarthy, have taken the music scene by storm with their post-punk rock songs.
