Fourth bus stoned in Lisbon; locals say they are frightened to use public transport

A fourth bus has been stoned in the space of a week in Lisbon. The latest incident, on Saturday night, mercifully did not claim any victims. Passengers describe a “very loud noise” and the realisation that a large stone had been hurled through one of the windows. Glass flew in all directions. Say reports, locals now are frightened not only to use public transport, particularly at night, but even to be in the streets. Several have described the windows of apartments also being broken. All four incidents have been reported to police. This far there have been no arrests.
