Four Seasons Fairways celebrates 25th anniversary

Four Seasons Fairways has launched a programme of events – “that touches all four seasons” – to mark the 25th anniversary of the resort this year. It kicked off with a gala dinner on January 17.
This first event brought together founders, CEOs, managers, former managers, partners and the region’s official entities, such as Loulé Municipality, the Algarve Tourism Board, the Almancil Business Association and other members from the business community “who have contributed greatly to the success of Four Seasons Fairways in Quinta do Lago”.
The hosts, Frank Sowman, Chairman of the Board, and Jorge Oliveira, General Manager, expressed their thanks to all for their support and cooperation over these 25 years, and highlighted the importance of the resort in the local market: “Fairways employs around 120 people, with more than 90% of these on permanent contract, and some of them have been with us since the beginning. Despite the severe financial crisis that affected our industry, we were able to get through these difficulties without the need to reduce the workforce.”
They also spoke of future investment plans that will keep Four Seasons Fairways as the reference for quality and prestige in the Algarve tourism arena. “Fairways generates more than €5 million annual revenue and has a policy of constant investment. Over the past 25 years, Fairways has invested over €6 million in renovations of villas and public areas, all to ensure we maintain the high quality standards.”
To continue the celebrations, there will be a further four themed dinners and other fun activities for members and guests.
