Forum Algarve in Faro was mobbed by fans recently when one of TV’s most popular stars, Mighty from Inspector Max, visited during the third annual dog show to be held at the centre. Mighty, real name Max, is currently the most famous dog in Portugal and was in Faro with his on screen co-star Sara Butler. The show attracted hundreds of dogs, each of whom trotted in front of an international panel, featuring judges from Spain, Holland, Portugal and Brazil. Mighty was on hand to announce the overall winner, who was awarded a chance to appear in the world famous Crufts dog show, held in Birmingham later this year.
