Four Brits – two children – injured in EN125 accident

Four British people – two adults and two children – were injured in an accident involving a car and a truck on the EN125 road in Almancil (Algarve) today.

The adults – a man and a woman aged 34 and 36 – sustained serious injuries, while the children – two girls aged six and nine – suffered minor injuries, according to CMTV.

The news channel added that three of them had to be extricated from the car. All four were taken to Faro Hospital, while the driver of the truck is understood to have not been injured.

Authorities were alerted to the accident at around 1.15pm. The cause of the crash is still unclear. GNR police are investigating.
