THERE ARE just two days to go (until June 19) to enjoy the Forum Algarve’s celebration of Ocean Week. The exhibition is part of the wider World Ocean Day, an event first marked in 1992 during a UN conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and commemorated on June 8 every year. In one area of Faro’s Forum, there is a space developed by the Algarve Centre of Living Science, which contains an exhibition, as well as interactive areas for children on biodiversity, fishing, pollution, coastal pressures and climatic alterations. There is also an aquarium with species of fish from the Ria Formosa and a recreational area with capacity for 30 children.
